As an EMS provider and flight nurse, the founder of AED Essentials saw a pattern with the cardiac arrest victims. Many of these patients had received little or no CPR/AED intervention prior to ambulance arrival. The AHA’s BLS Course provides the foundation for saving lives from cardiac arrest.
Medical professionals who respond to cardiovascular emergencies in and out of the hospital enhance their treatment knowledge and skills through the AHA’s ACLS training courses. AHA’s ACLS offerings highlight the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. They also cover airway management and related pharmacology.
AED Essentials is proud to offer PALS Certification Training. The AHA’s PALS Course is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. The goal of PALS is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.
AED Essentials is proud to introduce PHTLS as our newest class offering. PHTLS courses improve the quality of trauma care and decrease mortality. This program is based on a philosophy stressing the treatment of the multi-system trauma patient as a unique entity with special needs.
