Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Initial Provider Course Hybrid – 10/16/2025

PHTLS courses improve the quality of trauma care and decrease mortality. This program is based on a philosophy stressing the treatment of the multi-system trauma patient as a unique entity with special needs. PHTLS promotes critical thinking as the foundation for providing quality care. It is based on the belief that given a good fund of knowledge and key principles, EMS practitioners are capable of making reasoned decisions regarding patient care.

Once you register you will be sent an email confirmation with instructions for class and will be sent information on how to complete the first portion of this class, prior to attending the class.   This class is for those who have not taken or have lapsed in their certification.      Hybrid is for those that complete the first day of the two day class on line, with practical completion during the in seat portion of the class.
